A storm cell approaches the Nishnabotna valley.

A nice spring day in southwest Iowa.

Flooded farm fields on the left and the West Nishnabotna River on the right.

A line of thunderstorms moves across the already flooded Nishnabotna valley. I shot this last Sunday. Thankfully, it’s been dry since then.

The West Nishnabotna River out of its banks following very heavy rainfall.

There was alot of rotation in this storm cloud yesterday evening. It almost formed a funnel cloud several times before it broke up. It was an eerie sight.

Just a rusty old windmill.
