This young squirrel has taken up residence in an old bird house that I put up on an electric pole years ago. The starlings are in for a surprise this winter 😉

    Thanks !! No, I haven’t named him. There are two young ones that live in my yard, and I can’t tell them apart. I’m pretty sure it’s just this one that lives in the box.

    There’s a slough down across the field that’s teeming with squirrels and young males are periodically forced out and they come up the hill to live. Eventually they get tired of my dog and move on.
